Who am I?
I’m Neil, sometimes known as Big Neil, and occasionally as Big Beardy Neil. I’m a jack of all trades in the music industry. In my 20s, I managed academic music research projects across Europe while doing all the things I do now on the side.
When I put on gigs, I got my school friend Kenneth to design posters, videos, graphics, and logos for just about everything.
In 2011, I moved back to Scotland, and Kenneth and I decided we had enough clout and experience to turn it into a full-time career.
Since then, as a performer and session musician, I’ve appeared on stages at gigs and festivals around the world. I work directly with bands, record labels, and management companies to provide video and music production across a variety of genres.
Kenneth passed away in 2024 from a condition called MSA. He was a big bundle of happy energy and is sorely missed. I got to where I am today with him by my side, and it would have been a completely different journey without him*.
